The Colony.
Enjoy the classic Palm Beach experience with a stay at one of the island’s most iconic hotels. The historic hotel has hosted royalty, United States presidents, and famous figures like Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, John Lennon, and Sophia Loren. Located just off of Worth Avenue, the landmark hotel offers access to the beach, tennis courts, golf course, as well as the shops and vias on the Avenue. The hotel is also a block away from our Friday welcome party at Pizza al Fresco.
We have a room block here so make sure to book early before it fills up! Use the button below for a link to the room block or use the group code “BarnhartKuster” when making your reservation to access the reduced room rate. Please note, if using the link below, make sure to use the drop-down menu on the Colony site to select the appropriate two nights, as the link defaults to one night only. If the room block is full you can still book a room at the discounted rate by calling (561) 655-5430. The sooner the better, this hotel will fill up.
The Hilton Hotel — West Palm Beach
Located across the bridge in West Palm Beach, the Hilton Hotel is a more affordable but lovely option. The hotel has a large outdoor pool and is conveniently located in downtown West Palm Beach across the street from Rosemary Square (the former CityPlace). We do not have a room block here so we recommend booking early for the best prices!
West Palm Beach Marriott
We added another room block in case things start to fill up. To book, please call Marriott Reservations at 1(800) 228-9290 or (561) 833-1234 on or before Wednesday, April 6, 2022, (the “Cutoff Date”) to make your reservations, and say you are part of the Barnhart-Kuster Wedding Room Block staying at the West Palm Beach Marriott, located at 1001 Okeechobee Boulevard, West Palm Beach, FL 33401. The pre-tax room rate is $129.
The logistics.
Getting here.
We recommend flying into Palm Beach International Airport (PBI). PBI is a 15 minute drive to Palm Beach and a 5-10 minute drive to West Palm Beach.
The next two closest airports are Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Miami International Airport (MIA). Depending on traffic, FLL is about 1 hour and 20 minutes away by car, and MIA is about 2 hours away by car.
Getting around.
The island of Palm Beach is pedestrian and bike friendly. Across the bridge, the City of West Palm Beach is more spread out and less pedestrian friendly, but still walkable.
A rental car may be convenient for exploring, but is not necessary. Uber and Lyft operate in both localities.
Getting to the wedding.
We will be providing transportation to the wedding from the Colony and the Hilton/Marriott.
